Leo Gorman, 65, died Monday night at his home in West Liberty following an illness of several years.

Born in Russia July 1, 1890, he came to the United States in 1906. He was a machinist, having been employed in Chicago, and by the University of Iowa. He operated his own machine shop at the time of his death.

Mr. Gorman was married to the former Josephine Rinella, of Iowa, City, in Rock Island, Ill., in 1930.

Survivors include his widow and one son, Edward, who lives in Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the McGovern funeral home, Iowa City, with burial in St. Joseph's cemetery, also in Iowa City.
