Penni Nolan Tweeton, 46, of 2780 Triple Crown Lane died Friday, March 25, 2005 at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics following a lengthy illness.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at 1PM at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service. Friends may call from 6 to 8PM, Monday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Penni’s name.

Penni was born April 15, 1958 in Iowa City, the daughter of Leo and Bonnie Garvin Nolan. On August 16, 2003 she married David Tweeton at the New Life Church in Coralville.

Penni was a graduate of Lone Tree High School. She had attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls and graduated from the University of Iowa in Elementary Education. Penni was an active community volunteer.

She is survived by her husband, David; her mother, Bonnie Nolan of Gibson, Iowa; her sister, Brenda Wilson of Gibson, Iowa and her children Jenny and Steven; her brother, David Nolan of Cedar Rapids; her maternal grandmother Dorothy Garvin of Atalissa; her mother-in-law, Enid Tweeton of Washington, Iowa.

Penni was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Steven and Tom.
