Miss Mary Jensen, daughter of George Jensen and his wife, Johanne, was born July 1, 1909 in Johnson county, Iowa, one mile south of their present home place.

She was seriously wounded in an automobile accident Aug. 23, at one o'clock a.m. four miles southeast of Iowa City, Iowa, and died Aug. 25, in that city.

Rev. H. P. Jensen of West Branch, Ia., spoke at the home a word of admonition and comfort from the Gospel of St. John 14: 1-7 and Rev. Keeler of Iowa City spoke at the Brick Chapel.

A group of lady friends sang at the home and Chapel both.

Interment was made at the cemetery of the Brick Chapel where Mary was laid to rest Aug. 27, 1925.
