Mary Lillian Timmerman was born November 15, 1874. She was the daughter of J. H. and Susan Embree, was married to Ernest Timmerman, December 25, 1896, and passed away at her home in Iowa City, Sunday, March 12, 1899. When only 7 years of age she joined the M.E. church, of which she has been a consistent member and faithful worker until her master's call to come up higher, when she peacefully obeyed the summons. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Coates at 10 o'clock a.m. yesterday in the M.E. church at Honey Grove.
