Marguerite J. Chandler, 88, of 1607 Oak Lake Park Road, died Wednesday February 23, 2005 following a brief illness.

Funeral Services to celebrate Marguerite’s life will be Saturday at 1PM at Lensing’s Oak Hill, Coralville. Burial will be in Ladora, Iowa. Friends may call from 10AM to Noon Saturday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established in her name.

Marguerite was born September 22, 1916 and was married to the late Alfred B. Chandler.
She and her husband had farmed in the Ladora for many years. Marguerite later worked at Krause Furniture and in housekeeping at UIHC.

She was active in the Cedar Rapids deaf community.

Marguerite is survived by her children, Donna Chandler and her husband, Jonathan Buswell of Coralville; Eula (William) Schulz of Normal, Illinois; Mervin (Connie) Chandler of Cedar Rapids; fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one great grandchild.
