SAM PLANK DIES THIS MORNING

WAS SICK BUT FEW DAYS WITH PNEUMONIA AND END CAME UNEXPECTEDLY

Sam Plank died this morning at his home in Sharon township after a few days illness with pneumonia. He had just sold his farm near Sharon Center and planned to spend the summer travelling in the west. The death came as an unexpected shock to his many friends here. He leaves his father, seven brothers, George, John, William, David, Nicholas, Daniel and Jonathan and three sisters, Mrs. Yoder of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Brennaman in Illinois and Mrs. Mary Beck in Washington. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Evangelical church at Sharon Center.
