His skull fractured, and other injuries of fatal type being his sad fate, Mr. William B. Spinning of Graham township, died today, in an Iowa City hospital, at 8 o'clock a.m.

He fell Saturday, from the beam of a barn on the farm of his cousin, Leighty Brooks.

His hurts included a fractured skull, a broken arm and internal injuries.

Surviving are his sisters, Mesdames Arthur Cozine, Graham township; and Jennie Chase, of Pikesville, Ky.; and a brother, Charles M., of Chili. S.A.

The ill-fated man was a native of Montezuma, Iowa, and later lived in Minnesota, before coming to Johnson county, several years ago, since when he has made his home in Graham township, with his sister, Mrs. Cozine. He was 50 years old.

The funeral will be held at Brick Chapel, at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon. Rev. Geo. Furniss will officiate.

The friends of the estimable man will grief deeply to learn of his tragic death.--Iowa City Press-Citizen, Dec. 3rd.
