Mrs. L. Stutsman Dies Saturday In S.U.I. Hospital

Funeral services were held at the Sharon Evangelical United Brethren church at 2 o'clock Tuesday, June 8 for Mrs. Levi Stutsman 78, who died at the University hospital in Iowa City, where she had been a patient since October. The Rev. R. C. Pfaltzgraff was in charge of the services. Interment was made in the Sharon cemetery. Peterseim funeral home had charge of arrangements.
Stella Hartsock Stutsman was born August 8, 1875 in Johnson county, the daughter of George and Mary Hartsock. She was married to Levi Stutsman February 14, 1900 and the couple made their home on a farm six miles north of Kalona.
Survivors include her husband, one daugther, Mrs. Gertrude Nicola of Clinton and one son Paul at home and two grandchildren. One son, Willis, preceded her in death.
