OBITUARY OF MRS. N. GRIBBELL

Edith Jacob Gribbell, daughter of Gideon and Myrtle Jacob, was born at Iowa City, July 11, 1903 and died at Iowa City, July 25, 1932 aged 29 years and 14 days. On October 16, 1926 she was united in marriage to Nathan Gribbell, and to them was born one daughter, Faith. They have also provided a home for Dorothy, a niece. Others who survive are one brother, Will, Iowa City, one sister Mrs. Fred Gribbell, two nephews and four nieces. Her grandmother, Mrs. Susan Dubell, Iowa City, is also living.
With the exception of 8 months spent in Michigan, Mrs. Gribbell has spent all of her life in Johnson County.
When 8 years of age Edith was baptized and received into the Christian church. Twelve years later she transferred her membership to the Sharon Evangelical church, of which she was a faithful member up to her death.

The funeral was held at the Sharon Evangelical church Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. with services in charge of Rev. R.E. Kerney. Burial was in the Sharon Center Cemetery.
