On Tuesday morning, July 17, occurred the death of Mrs. Amos Sleichter. She had not been well for about two years but it was just recently that she realized her condition was so serious. She leaves a husband, three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Jones, Mrs. Fannie Hummer, Miss Maud at home and one son, John at home. Also one step-daughter Hattie and several grandchildren. The funeral services were held at the United Evangelical church Wednesday afternoon attended by a large number of sympathizing friends.
