Mrs. John Campion, 58, died Wednesday evening at 5:55 o'clock at her home in Solon after an illness of three years. She suffered a stroke of paralysis a few days ago.
Mrs. Campion was born in Bohemia and came to this country when four years old. She had lived in Newport township for 64 years, moving to Solon a year ago.
Surviving are her husband and five children, Mrs. Mae Miller of Solon, Mrs. Raymond Murphy of West Branch, Albert, John Jr. and Earl, all of Iowa City. There are also eleven grandchildren and a brother, Frank Stinocher, of Solon.
The funeral services were held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's church at Solon, with interment in the church cemetery.
