(K)CATHERINE SHCRADER TAKEN BY DEATH FRIDAY

(K)Catherine Schrader, daughter of Christian and Fredericka Schrader, was born in Sharon Township, Johnson County, Iowa, December 27, 1863 and died September 29, 1932 aged 68 years, 10 months, and 28 days.
She was the next to the youngest in a family of nine, and is survived by one brother, Ben H. of Salina, Kans., and her younger sister Mrs. Jacob Troyer. There are 12 nephews and nieces, including Ethel, Alve and Ralph Troyer of this community.
While a child she united with the Sharon Evangelical church and remained a member of this church throughout her life. For the most of her life she has made the old home place her abode, a number of years however being spent in Kalona with her parents during their declining years.
Miss Schrader made many friends throughout the community as she busied herself as a seamstress. She has been in declining helath fro almost 5 years. Her death follows the death of her brother Moses, but little more than a week. Her life has run course and quietly she slipped away to join those who have gone before her.
The funeral was in charge of Rev. R.E. Kerney, and was held on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Sharon Evangelical church, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
