Mrs. August Rothweiler died shortly [sic] 9 o'clock on Thursday morning, having been taken suddenly ill the evening before. Shortly before the attack she had been seemingly in her usual health. The cause of death was the rupture of a blood vessel near the liver which caused a fatal internal hemorrhage. Mrs. Rothweiler was about 24 years old and had been married less than a year. The remains were taken to her former home in New York City for burial. Rev. Mr. Hoerlein conducted brief funeral exercises at the stricken home on Thursday evening. Mr. Rothweiler has the sympathy of a large circle of friends in his bereavement.
