FUNERAL FOR MRS. ROESSLER IS HELD TODAY

Funeral services in memory of Mrs. Lousia Roessler were conducted this afternoon, at the Beckman Funeral Home, by Rev. H. A. Brueckner
Mrs. Roessler was a native of Germany, where she was born Nov. 18, 1888. She was thus eighty-six years, six months, and sixteen days of age, when the end came yesterday. She was a widow, and a resident of Johnson County ever since she was four years old. Her husband, Gotlieb Roessler, died thrirty-six years ago. Mrs. Roessler, ever since she came to this country, resided in Johnson County.
An unusally large family of sons and daughters mourn the death of this good woman, who was a loving, devoted mother. Many friends, too, are sorrowladen because of her death. The children are eleven in number - Mesdames Mary and Ciara Falk, of Linden and Pasco, Wash., respectively; Amelia Zager, Iowa City; Carrie Bonham, Iowa City; and Minnie Hess, Parnell; Ella Roessler, Iowa City; and John F. and Will, of Iowa City; Jacob and George of Shoshone, Idaho; and Gotlieb of Seattle, Wash.
