Harriet F. Weeber, 89, of 701 Oaknoll Drive, Iowa City, died Sunday, February 13, 2005.

There will be no visitation. The body has been cremated. Private family graveside services will be at Welsh Pioneer Cemetery, rural Johnson County. Memorial donations may be made to the Welsh Pioneer Association c/o Harriet Weeber Memorial Fund, 701 Oaknoll Dr. Iowa City, IA 52246. Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Weeber was born February 27, 1915, in Johnson County to William L. & Stella (Fry) Rowland. She married T. Corlyn Weeber June 30, 1936. She was a secretary prior to her marriage and was a homemaker most of her married life and a long-time member of the Welsh Congregational Church in rural Johnson County.

Harriet is survived by one daughter, Marilyn and her husband, Donald Bowlin of Plainfield, N.J. and Delray Beach, FL; one son, Wm. Clark Weeber of Ft. Myers Beach, FL; one sister, Mabel Davis of Iowa City, IA; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1994; two sisters, Gertrude Hill and Mary Grace Kesselring; one brother Lloyd Rowland; and one grandchild, Randy Bowlin.
