Plan Services for William Plank, 81, At Sharon Center

Funeral Services for William Plank, 81, former resident of Iowa City, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the United Brethren Evangelical Church at Sharon Center.
Mr. Plank died Friday at Davenport after an illness of four years. Burial will be in the cemetery at Sharon Center. The Rev. I.J. Hoover will officiate at the funeral.
He was born on a farm in Johnson County November 6, 1869, the son of John I. and Sarah Eash Plank. He farmed in the Sharon Center community for a time and also lived in Ohio and Iowa City.
Mr. Plank was a member of the United Brethren Evangelical Church at Sharon Center. His wife preceded him in death four years ago.
Mr. Plank is survived by three brothers, George Plank, Sharon Center, John U. Plank, Salem, Ore., and N. S. Plank, Davenport, and two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Yoder, Parnell, and Mrs. Mary Richardson, Kelso, Wash.
