1924-2007

Pauline R. Snider, 83, of Kalona died Friday, December 21, 2007 in Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, following a short illness.
Services are Friday, December 28, at 10:30 a.m. in Sharon Center United Methodist Church, 2804 520th St. SW, Kalona, with Pastor Doug Cue officiating. Visitation is Thursday, December 27, from 4-7 p.m. in Peterseim Funeral Home, Kalona. Burial is in Sharon Hill Cemetery, Kalona.
Born October 24, 1924, she was the daughter of Lewis and Ida (Miller) Gingerich. She attended Kalona High School.
She was untied in marriage to Donald Snider February 18, 1951. Mrs. Snider worked as a bank teller and in dairy farming.
She was a member of Sharon Center United Methodist Church and Rose of Sharon UMW.
Survivors include a sister, Luella Linebaugh of Dayton, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Marjorie Yoder of Kalona; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Snider August 17, 2007; three sisters, Evelyn Baumgartner, Viola Swartzendruber and Gertrude Bender; and a brother Wilson Gingerich.
Memorials may be directed to the Kalona 1st Responders and Sharon Center United Methodist Church.
