Nita Marie Rath, 77, of Riverside, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2001, at Mercy Hospital.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Riverside. Burial will be in the Riverside Public Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be made out to the Riverside United Methodist Church and the Riverside First Responders.
Mrs. Rath was born April 13, 1924, in Riverside to Edward and Ethel (Vaughn) Wingler. She married Donald Rath on Nov. 6, 1943, in Las Vegas. She worked for many years at the Riverside Feed & Grain Company. She also owned and operated the NR Ceramic Shop in Riverside.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband; one son and his wife, J. Dene and Marsha Rath of Riverside; one brother and his wife, Clayton and Joyce Wingler of Riverside; four sisters, Lura Sutton of Dayton, Ohio, Jean Kopf of Iowa City, Vaida Streb and Aletha Druber and her husband, Donald, all of Riverside; and two grandchildren.
Her parents, one son, Errol; one daughter, Karen Kaye Reilly; and one brother, Daryl Wingler; died earlier.
