Thomas Stephen Ewalt, 64, of Iowa City died Thursday, March 22nd at the Pearl Valley Care Center in Muscatine.
Family Committal Services are planned.
Tom was born August 19, 1953 in Iowa City, the son of Myron and Helen Langenberg Ewalt. In the early 90’s Tom played bass guitar in the band, “Jack and the Rippers.”
Survivors include three siblings, Shirley Schulte of Iowa City, Ellen Shunk and Don Ewalt, both of Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Jane Ewalt, Carol Frese, Joseph Ewalt and Susan Ewalt.
