Ray H. Frank, 78, of Riverside died Saturday at Mercy Hospital after a sudden illness.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Sharon Center United Methodist Church, with burial in the Sharon Center Cemetery. The Rev. Adrian "Yon" Schoenmaker will officiate.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the George L. Gay Funeral Home. Memorial donations will go to the Sharon Center United Methodist Church.
Mr. Frank was born July 27, 1912, in Sharon Center, the son of Harrison M. and Nellie Augustine Frank. He attended Sharon School No. 6. He was a farmer.
He married Ruth Prybil on Feb. 3, 1943, in Iowa City. he was a member of the Sharon Center United Methodist Church in Sharon Center and was also a member of the Iowa City Moose Lodge, Eagles Club, and the Hills Town and Country Club.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, William Frank of Mesa, Ariz., and Thomas Frank of Los Angeles, a daughter, Sandy Mougin of Sharon Center; a brother, Russell Frank of Riverside; two sisters, Loretta Stubbs of Kalona and Velma Reber of Denver, Colo., and two grandchildren.
