Earl E. Miller Dies; Rites Set

Earl E. Miller, 84, of rural Sharon Center died Wednesday night in Mercy hospital following a long illness.
Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the E.U.B. church at Sharon Center with the Rev. Samuel Hahn officiating. Burial will be in the Sharon Center Cemetery.
Mr. Miller was born December 25, 1879, in Somerset county, PA., the son of Dibert and Susan Bowman Miller.
He came to Iowa at the age of 19, and attended Iowa State college. In 1905, he was married in Sharon Center to Ruth E. Hall, who died in 1941.
Mr. Miller had been a teacher and farmer in Johnson county. He was a member of the E.U.B. church and Masonic Fellowship No. 549, Sharon Center.
Surviving are two sons, Delbert of Riverside and Glenn of Route 3; a brother, Howard P. of Jennerstown, Pa; seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may contribute to the E.U.B. church fund.
