Death Takes Mrs. O.R. Yoder
Passes Away Sunday Funeral Services Tomorrow

Mrs. Omar R. Yoder, 48, of Sharon township, lifelong resident of Johnson county, passes away at a local hospital at 4:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon following a lingering illness.
Emma C. Petsel was born in Lone Tree October 4, 1887, and moved to Scott township with her parents at the age of four. She graduated from Iowa City academy and taught in the Johnson county public schools for four years.
She married Omar R. Yoder on September 27, 1911, and from the time of her marriage had resided in Sharon township where she was active in all church and community activities. Mrs. Yoder was a member of the Christian church.
She is survived by seven children; Mabel, Glen, Calvin, Emily, Charlotte, Theodore and Alan, all at home; her mother, Mrs. Anna Petsel of Iowa City; two brothers, Frank Petsel of Como, Colorado, and Mr. George Petsel of Iowa City, and four sisters, Mrs. Mary H...ing, and Mrs. William Rohrba... of Iowa City, Mrs. Lorin Potter of Wellman, and Mrs. Harry Ha...buch of Wellman. A son, E... died in infancy.
Funeral services will be at Sharon Evangelical Church tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Walter E. Ulrich, pastor and the Rev. Caspar C. Garrigues, ... or of the Christian chruch here ... be in charge. The remains a... Beckman's.
