Funeral at Tingley For Mrs. Z.I. Grout
Funeral services were held in Tingley Wednesday for Mrs. Z.I. Grout, former resident of Sharon Township, who died Sunday.
Mrs. Grout was the daughter of Elias and Amelia Strickler, of Sharon Township, and was born December 15, 1871. She was married in 1895 and lived for 10 years on a farm in Sharon Township before moving to Tingley.
She and her husband celebrated their golden wedding anniversary November 12, 1945.
She is survived by her husband and three sons, Ray of Tingley, Glenn of California, and Loren of Mason City. Twelve grandchildren also survive.
Relatives from this community attending the funeral services were J. H. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Oral Miller, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Strickler, Mr. and Mrs. L. Southwick, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Strickler and son, Forrest, James Grout and Amos, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Grout, Mrs. Emma Madden and Lute Grout.
