Stephanie Morrison, 45, of Iowa City, passed away February 5th at Mercy Hospital with her mother by her side.

Private family services have been held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed toward her daughter’s education fund in care of Sandra Libenguth or Arabella White. (PO Box 167; Iowa City, IA 52244)

Stephanie was born on September 2nd, 1972 in Flora, IL, daughter of Edgar E. Morrison Jr. and Sandra K. Stanfield. She was a City High graduate and attended Kirkwood Community College.

Stephanie's pride and joy was her daughter, Arabella. She loved being a mother and would say it was her greatest achievement. Stephanie was an avid reader and enjoyed sharing her love of books with Arabella. This past year, the two of them had set a goal to read 1000 books before Arabella enters kindergarten. To date, they have read over 700.

Stephanie is survived by her daughter, Arabella White; her mother, Sandra Libenguth of Iowa City; her brother, Brian Morrison of Iowa City and her sister, Melissa Sorenson of Ames. She is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Morrison Jr.; her sister, Leslie Pirkl and her step-father, Louis Libenguth.
