John A. Glick
Dies at Kalona

KALONA -- John A. Glick, 88, died this morning at the farm home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Tobe Bontrager, a mile west of here.
Mr. Glick, a retired farmer, was born July 14, 1872, in LaGrange county, Indiana, the son of John K. and Martha Hooley Glick.
He married Magdalena Miller October 25, 1900, and she died June 10, 1919. On September 19, 1936, he married Anna Schrock, and she died in February, 1948.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Aaron Glick, of Lancaster, Pa.; Mrs. Mose Bontrager, Mrs. Tobe Bontrager, Mrs. Ralph Schlabaugh and Mrs. Enos H. Miller, all of Kalona; and two sons, Chris J. Glick, of Pearl River, La., and Daniel Glick, of Kalona.
Funeral services are pending at Yoder funeral home here.
