HARRY GLICK
LAID TO REST
----
The body of Harry Glick, regimental color sergeant of the 109th Engineers, of Iowa City, in France, was recovered at Minneapolis, floating in Cedar lake, the day of his second anniversary as a returned soldier.
He was canoeing with a friend last week; the friend later left, assuming that Glick had driven home in an auto. The Iowa boy probably returned to the boat, and when it was upset, perished. He was not missed until his body was found by a stranger, in swimming, the following day. then the friend investigated, and learned of the tragedy.
Mr. Glick was a former Iowa university student. He left school to enter the world war; and, after the war entered the university of Minnesota, where his brother is a professor. Both are alumni of Muscatine high school.
The young Iowan was a fine man, and his soldier "buddies" and other friends in Iowa City and university circles will grieve deeply.
He did not meet death, while wearing the khaki uniform of his country, but he had served that country well, both on the Mexican border, and across the ocean, and he has earned a gold star, thou death came to him, long after the war ended.

Buried at New Home
The body of the ill-fated warrior was taken to his new home, in Minneapolis where he resided at 1612 Eleventh street, with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Glick. The services were conducted there, and the interment was made in the Abath Yeshurun cemetery.
