Scott T. Barnes, 51, formerly of Iowa City died at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri Saturday, January 29, 2005 following a long illness.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 4PM at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, where friends may call after 2PM. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

Scott was born October 25, 1953 in Iowa City, the son of William T. and Libbie Stodola Barnes.

Scott was a 1971 graduate of City High School and had resided in the Lake of the Ozarks area for many years. He loved to fish and hunt.

He is survived by three children Travis Barnes of Marion , Iowa; Shaunna and Matthew Barnes of Osage Beach, Missouri; his mother of West Branch; two sisters
Jackie (Pat) Donovan of Iowa City and Vicki Barnes of Marion; his uncle Clifford Barnes of Iowa City.

He was preceded in death by his father.
