“We have loved him in life, let us not forget him after death”

In loving memory of Scott “Sib” Sibley, 55 of North Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Scott was the youngest born to William and Ione (Paintin) Sibley in Iowa City on November 17, 1961. Scott will be remembered as a loving brother, uncle and friend. He was a Rockstar, or as he would say; a legend. He was a kind hearted loving man who put others before himself.

Survivors include his Sisters; Sue Powers of Parnell, Becky (Tom) Reichelt of North Liberty and Libby Sibley of Coralville; Nieces and Nephews; Mike Powers, Alexa (Eric) Hoffman, Erika Sibley, Jonathan (Shae) Sibley, Abigail Lee, John (Audrey) Lee, Jake Lee, Jennifer Lee and Amanda Lee.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bill and Jeffrey Sibley.

A celebration of Scott’s life will be held and announced later. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the family.
