Richard “Junior” Heisner, 83, of North Liberty died Wednesday, July 26th at Windmill Manor.

Graveside Military Services will be held Tuesday, August 1st at 1 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Coralville. Arrangements are with Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service.

Junior was born in Iowa City on April 29, 1934, the son Edith (Gingerich) Heisner. He was a graduate of City High School and served in the US Navy.

Junior was employed as a cook at the Hawkeye Truck Stop for many years.

He was a member of the Coralville American Legion.

Junior is survived by cousins.
