Marjorie Moore Cantor, 94, of Iowa City, formerly of Omaha, NE, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Briarwood Health Care Center. No Services will be held per Marjorie’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Unitarian Universalist Society or The University of Iowa Humanities and Arts.

Marjorie was born on March 9, 1923 in Omaha, NE the daughter of Verne and Louise (Bratton) Moore. She received her bachelors of nursing from The University of Nebraska and her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in Education Psychology. Marjorie was the Associate Director of Nursing for The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for 20 years retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Society and at UIHC.
