Ruth Conn Webster Heath, 91, of Coralville passed away surrounded by family on Friday, October 21, 2016.

A celebration of Ruth’s life is scheduled for a later date. Memorial donations can be directed to Pathways Iowa City or the Tonica United Methodist Church in Tonica, IL.

Ruth was born on July 3, 1925 in Champaign, IL to Newton Oscar Conn and Nellie “Hazel” King Conn. On December 22, 1946 Ruth married Stanley Keith Webster. Years after Stanley’s passing, Ruth married George W. Heath on March 4, 1978.

Ruth loved her family and always put family and service first.

Ruth is survived by her four children; James Webster of Iowa City, Betsy (John) Henson of Iowa City, Carol (Jim) Searls of Iowa City, Janet Struck of La Salle, IL; ten grandchildren, Courtney (Todd) Nelson, Jackie Searls, Kimberly (Danny) Bales, James “Butch” (Janet) Searls, Jennifer Duffy, Ellen Hadsell, Robert Laaser, Seth Struck, Megan Henson (Mat) and Tom Henson (Danielle); 6 great-grandchildren, Haleigh, Camden, Owen, Gavin, Lyla, Burton; her sister Martha (Don) Mansfield of Jackson, MI and her extended family and friends.

She was preceded by her parents, both husbands and her sister, Mary Ryan.

The family would like to extend thanks for the compassionate care to all the staff at Lantern Park Specialty Care.
