Muriel E. Angelsberg Lehman, 76, of Iowa City, died Friday, June 3, 2016 at Windmill Manor in Coralville, Iowa.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City – with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Joetown near Kalona. Instead of flowers and plants, the family requests memorials to the Muriel E. Lehman Memorial Fund.

Muriel was born December 28, 1939 in Iowa County, the daughter of John and Vera (Yoder) Gascho. Growing up in the Wellman area and graduating from Wellman High School, Muriel moved to Iowa City in 1959. She married Donald Lehman October 10, 1985 in Iowa City.

She was a proofreader for Moore Business Forms in Iowa City for 36 years – retiring in 2000. Muriel was also an Avon Representative in the area for more than 20 years.

Muriel is survived by her sons, Michael Angelsberg of Coralville and Randy Embree of Oxford
step-children, Stephanie Von Lienen of North Liberty, Terry Lehman (Bonny) of Iowa City,
Rita Vickroy of Martinez, Georgia and Robin Starbuck of North Liberty; 7 step-grandchildren;
9 step great-grandchildren; 1 step-great-great grandson; a brother, David Gascho (Mindy) of Cedar Rapids; sisters, Janice Berger of Wellman, Judy Walter of Cedar Rapids and Karen Dunn (Doug) of Marion.

Her parents and her husband Donald preceded her in death.
