Jim enjoyed four beloved Labrador retrievers over four decades. He was a kind, gentle person who spent his life career nursing others back to health. He enjoyed reading biographies and history as well as following train schedules. Jim was a kind soul and his dry sense of humor will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him. He will be much missed by many friends and family.

He is survived by his wife Joellen and many beloved cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Ellen Megan.
