Georgia S. Geissel, 54, of Iowa City, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016. No services will be held. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center or your local animal shelter.

Georgia was born November 19, 1961 in Santa Monica, CA the daughter of Dr. Leonard and Patricia B. Geissel.

Georgia is survived by her two brothers, Nat (Lisa Brewster) Geissel of North Liberty, and William (Audrey) Geissel of Milwaukee, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents.
