Marie F. Gray, 91, of Coralville, died Friday, February 12, 2016 at Windmill Manor in Coralville.

No services will be held. Burial was in Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida.

Marie was born December 8, 1924 in Nampa, Idaho, the daughter of Harvey and Grace (Cessna) Frederick. She was united in marriage to Chester C. Gray in 1943.

Marie was a librarian with the University of Iowa School of Journalism.

Survivors include her son James Gray (Sara) of Tallahassee, Florida, her daughter Janet Gray of Coralville and grandchildren, Ashley, Allison and Brenna.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Chester in 1997, brothers Lee & Paul and a sister, Ruth.
