Glenna L Cobb, 87, died peacefully on Thanksgiving Day, her favorite holiday, surrounded by family.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Congregational United Church of Christ on Monday, December 21st with the time to be announced. Rev. William Lovin will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Congregational Church or Mercy Hospital Foundation.

Glenna is survived by her two children, Stu (Deb) Cobb of Iowa City and Jenny (Tom) Castle of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren, Valerie (Bryce) Schroder of Ft. Collins, CO, Bryan (Kate) Cobb of Iowa City, Tommy (Alice) Castle of West Des Moines and Ben Castle of Berkeley, CA; two great grandchildren, Kayla and Anthony; her brother, Hoyt Monroe of Jefferson, IA; and her beloved cat, Molly.

Glenna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stanley and six siblings, Lucile, Lorraine, Willie, Wanda, Dwight and Marilyn.
