Sharon Lee Norris, 71, of Coralville passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

A Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Coral Village Community Room, 1799 5th St. in Coralville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sharon Norris Memorial Fund.

Sharon was born on September 30, 1944 in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of Addler and Florence (Crook) Peterson. She married David Norris August 4, 1967 in Mason City. They later divorced. She retired from Aide Rental Properties in 2007 where she was an account manager.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, listening to country music, playing bingo, going to the casino, cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes, and attending potlucks and other activities at Coral Village. She was an exuberant dresser and the life of the party! She will greatly missed by her family and friends.

Sharon is survived by her children; Susan Norris of Iowa City, David Norris Jr. of Cedar Lake, Indiana, and Jason Norris of DeMotte, Indiana; daughter-in-law, Lisa Norris of Lowell, Indiana; grandchildren, Nicole, Grace, Kaylee, and Emma; siblings, brother James Peterson (Cindy) of Rudd, Iowa, sister Marcia Christensen (Dennis) of Manly, Iowa, and sister Nancy Easley (Ray) of Marion, Iowa; several beloved nieces and nephews; and grand-doggie Maddux.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert Peterson and Gary Peterson.
