David G. Jindrich, 68, died peacefully at his home Monday, June 22nd.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 26th at Grace United Methodist Church in Tiffin with Reverend Beverly Marshall Goodell officiating. A visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Grace United Methodist Church or to the Clear Creek-Amana Community Food Pantry.

David was born October 25, 1946 in North Liberty, the son of Godfrey and Mae Korub Jindrich. He was a 1964 graduate of Clear Creek High School. On March 25, 1995, David married LaDonna Townsend.

David had been employed at North Liberty Plastics for many years. He was proud of his Czech heritage and loved the outdoors, especially time spent fishing, mushrooming and exploring flea markets -- his fried fish and mushrooms were enjoyed by many.

David is survived by his loving wife, LaDonna; cousins, Delores Hawkins, Lawrence Jindrich, and Robert Jindrich; mother and father-in-law, Patti Townsend Jeffery (Richard); brother and sister-in-law, Theresa (Mike) Robertson and Timothy (Lori) Townsend; nieces, nephews and his four-legged companions: Rowdy, Festus and Daisy.

David was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother, Ruth.
