Kashyap Handoo, died unexpectedly, April 24, 2015.

He is survived by his wife Nidhi, daughter Raginya, son Kalhan, parents Jawaharlal and Lalita Handoo, parents-in-law Col. Kanwal Krishen and Sneh Qasba, sister Heemal Bhat (Anil), niece Prakriti, nephew Panshul, brother-in-law Rishi Qasba (Ritu), and nephew Rudra.

Kash was full of life, always willing to help anyone in need. He had a smile on his face when you meet him.

He loved discovering new foods and places. Kash is always the first person to try something new.

He loved sports specially his favorite Hawkeye team. He is always the first one to cheer for Raginya and Kalhan during their games. He wanted them to always do their best but most of all enjoy the game, and playing with their teammates.

Thank you Kash for being a great and loving person.

Family Hindu services will be held earlier this coming week, with a public gathering for family and friends to be held from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be given in his memory to the North Liberty Food Pantry, North Liberty Fire Department or to the Kashyap Handoo Memorial Fund.
