A memorial service for John Anderson, 27, who died Sunday, April 10, 1994, of fungal meningitis in a hospital in Australia, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church, 310 N. Johnson St. in Iowa City. Anderson's high school basketball coach Bob Landis will give the eulogy. Visitation will follow. Money for the John M. Anderson Memorial Fund may be sent to Iowa State Bank and Trust, PO Box 1700, Iowa City, 52244-9817.
Anderson's parents, Richard and Jean Anderson, former Fairfield residents, will be at their home during the weekend for visits. Their address is 2611 Ferndale Drive, Iowa City, 52245-5001.
