Katherine Lowery, 91 died Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at Lantern Park Nursing and Rehab. After a brief illness.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Lensing’s Oakhill 210 Holiday Road, Coralville. The Rev. Alvin Jingst will be officiating. Memorials may be made to Katherine Lowery Memorial Fund.

Katherine was born April 15, 1912 in Cumberland, Kentucky the daughter of James Monroe Halcomb and Mary Jane Scott.

She is survived by her children: Margaret Essary of Coralville, Iowa and Clarence Lowery of Independence, Kentucky. 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
