Patricia R. (Lowrance) Milder of Iowa City, died Friday, December 7, 2012 at Mercy Hospice in Iowa City.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Iowa City. Fr. John Spiegel will officiate. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:30 at Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City. A parish wake service will begin at 7:30. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to the Patricia Milder Memorial Fund.

Pat was born July 30, 1949 in El Dorado, Kansas, the daughter of Homer and Genrose (Erpelding) Lowrance.

She graduated from Regina High School in 1968, married John H. Milder October 3, 1970 at St. Mary’s Church in Iowa City where she continued to be a member.

They made their home in Iowa City and raised their sons, Pete and Steve.

She retired from US Bank in 2009 and devoted time to her grandchildren who she loved dearly, and continued her 32 years of serving her Mary Kay Cosmetics clients. Pat enjoyed camping, Hawkeye sports, NASCAR racing and going to her grandchildren’s sporting & school events.

Surviving are her husband of 42 years, John; her sons Pete Milder and Steve (Lisa) Milder, all of Iowa City; grandchildren, Cole, Logan and Madison; her brother Rex (Teri) Lowrance of Roscoe, Illinois and her sister Jane (John) Ashland of Hiawatha and niece Jennifer (Joe) Wartick and nephew Justin Lowrance.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents.
