LeRoy C. Lenoch, 89, of Coralville passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Iowa City Veterans Hospital.
LeRoy Lenoch was born June 21, 1923 in Iowa City, to James and Emma (Villhauer) Lenoch. He graduated from Iowa City High School in 1941. LeRoy enlisted into the United States Army in 1943, serving in WWII and was later injured in the Battle of The Bulge. On November 18, 1946 LeRoy married Mary Ann Sibley at the Zion Lutheran Church in Iowa City. He was an independent contractor his entire life before retiring.
Survivors include his 7 Children, Dan Lenoch of North Liberty, Steve (Geri) Lenoch of Coralville, Vicki Lenoch of Maryland, Doug (Mary) Lenoch of Coralville, Jeanne (Bob) Stubbs of Downey, Jay (Marlene) Lenoch of North Liberty, Cindy (Garry) Gleason of Iowa City; 22 Grandchildren, and 14 Great-Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann, his parents, 2 sons, David Lenoch and Johnny Lenoch.
