James A. Estes, 74 of Burlington, formerly of Iowa City, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Iowa City.

Funeral services with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2012, at the Rock Island National Cemetery (Moline Entrance off of River Street off of Interstate 74, gather at the gate 15minutes prior to services).Online condolences may be sent for his family through the web @ www.gayandciha.com.

His family includes his five children, Robert, Beverly, Sabrina, Raymond and John; 2 step-children, Joe and Angie; two sisters, Nancy Barnhart (Dan) of Iowa City; and Beverly Nelson of North Liberty; and several nieces, nephews, and great nephews.
