Marcia Holinsky, 83, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at UIHC following a brief illness.
Graveside Services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, November 13th at Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice. Arrangements are with Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, where condolences may be sent to www.lensingfuneral.com.
Marcia was born in Poland on August 8, 1929, the daughter of Yankle and Deborah Wolfowitz. She married the late Bert Holinsky. Marcia was a resident of the Bronx, New York for much of her life, moving to Iowa City in 1993 to be near her daughter.
Survivors include her daughter, Doreen Holinsky of Davenport; her son Jan (Rhonie) Holinsky of Valrico, FL; grandson Brandon; sister, Ruth (Leon) Shulkin of Australia; and son-in-law, Michael Overturf of North Liberty.
