Kim Hickman, 76, of Iowa City, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012, with family by her side at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Saturday May 12, 2012, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. There will be a period of visitation one hour prior to the services and also following the services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund through Iowa City Hospice has been established in her memory. Online condolences may be sent for her family through the web @ www.gayandciha.com.

Kim was born July 15, 1935, in Korea. She has been a longtime resident of Iowa City where she worked for the former Moore Business Forms for many years prior to her retirement. She was married to John M. Hickman in June 1988 in Iowa City. Kim was a charter member of the Korean Methodist Church in Iowa City. Her hobbies included traveling, gardening, and cooking.

Her family includes her husband, John; daughter Karen; son-in-law, Mike; and one grandson, Jayden.
