LIFE RESIDENT OF CITY TAKEN

Edward Rittenmeyer Dies Here; Funeral to Be Held Friday

Mr. Edward Rittenmeyer, 52, passed away at 10 o'clock Tuesday evening in Mercy hospital. He resided at 630 East Church street.

Mr. Rittenmeyer was born in Iowa City, May 27, 1875, and had passed his entire life in the city. He was a member of the Eagles' lodge.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Carl Zetterwall, 630 East College street, and Mrs. Rose Seepmamn of Sheboygan, Wis.; three brothers, Messrs. J.J. and Charles Rittenmeyer, both of Iowa City, and Joseph Rittenmeyer of Oklahoma, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Friday morning in St. Mary's Catholic church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery. The remains will be at the Hohenschuh mortuary until time for the services.
