Mary Jo McCluskey, 88, formerly of Iowa City, died Wednesday February 29, 2012 at the Veterans Home in Marshalltown.

No services are planned. Arrangements were with Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service.

Mary Jo was born January 16, 1925 in Hardley, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph and Freida Poe Harvey. On June 28, 1942 Mary Jo married Myron McCluskey in Mason City.

They moved to Iowa City in 1988.

Mary Jo is survived by her daughter Joan Welsch of Montgomery, Alabama.
