Hannah E Eimen, 94 formerly of 320 S. Dubuque died Wednesday October 8, 2003 at Lantern Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be held Monday Oct. 13 at 10:30am at Zion Lutheran Church. Visitation will be on Sunday Oct. 12 from 3:00 to 6:00pm at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service-605 Kirkwood Ave. and also on Monday at the Church one hour before the service. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.

Hannah was born July 25, 1909 the daughter of Albert and Wilhemina(Heede) Kleinschmidt. On May 24, 1931 she was united in marriage to Rufus R. Eimen. She and Rufus farmed for many years in Iowa and Johnson County. Hannah also worked as a housekeeper for the University of Iowa Dormitories for twenty years retiring in 1971. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, volunteered at the Senior Citizen Center and she enjoyed her family, gardening and took great pleasure in doing for others.

Survivors include her son, Clifford Eimen and his wife Irene of Williamsburg, Iowa, one granddaughter Mary Zimmerman and a great grandson, Jacob, both of Coralville, Iowa, ,one sister, Elizabeth Reynolds of Iowa City, Iowa and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents, her husband, one brother, William, and one sister, Marie and a twin brother and sister in infancy preceded her in death.
