Miss Gertrude Fisher Succumbs

Miss Gertrude Fisher a former resident of River Junction passed away at the age of 73 at Emmetsburg, Iowa.

Miss Fisher had moved to Curlew, Iowa with her parents, Mr and Mrs John Fisher. She had been a telephone operator at Curlew, Iowa for a number of years before her retirement.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs Martha Johnson and Mrs Helen Johnson, both of Armstrong, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Mrs Godfrey Abby and Mrs Charles (Myrtle) Murphy, two brothers, Charles and Robert Fisher

Burial was in Curlew, Iowa cemetery.
